It is also worth noting that the Government of Balochistan has shown remarkable developments in various sectors as 2025 approaches its end. Despite the socio-economic and security pressures, December was marked by new drive in the take-off of public services, infrastructure, education and sustainable development which is indicative of the larger development agenda by the province in the coming year.
Improved Transportation Services
The expansion of the Green Bus Project in Quetta was one of the most noticeable developments within this month. The provincial government also increased the fleet of buses by adding 12 more buses, which enhanced mobility in the city to thousands of commuters. Moreover, a special Pink Bus service was also introduced that has five buses, and the service is safer and more accessible to women. These initiatives form a wider plan to modernise the public transport, alleviate the traffic congestion, and encourage open access to transport.
Further Investment in Education
Education is also among the priorities of development in Balochistan. There were significant structural changes throughout the year, however, further funding and implementation activities this month provided a stronger demonstration of the government:
