Balochistan is currently at the critical point when the stability, development, and political harmony have been intertwined. The Government of Balochistan (GoB) is determined to carry on with its activities to achieve peace and enhance the socio-economic development of the province. The provincial government has made bold measures in the past few months to seek a solution to the situation in law and order. Such actions are not confined to security reactions, but they are part of a wider policy that strives to ensure security of citizens, security of infrastructure and provision of an environment of investment and growth. Significant projects like Reko Diq, Gwadar Port, and other social development projects need to be stabilised over a long period to achieve their full potential for the people of Balochistan. Political parties and civil society are a healthy and necessary element of democratic governance through constructive criticism. According to the provincial government, such a dialogue is an opportunity to perfect its policies, as well as to improve service delivery. Education, health, infrastructure, and youth empowerment development efforts show that the administration seems to have made efforts towards long-term initiatives in mitigating the instability factors and providing opportunities. It is unity, cooperation and joint responsibility that are the way to go. With proper security management, inclusive politics and speedy development, the Government of Balochistan is moving towards a peaceful, prosperous and empowered province.
