About Us

Information Department of West Pakistan Government was working before 1971. After the creation of province of Balochistan,the Information Wing with its attached Directorate i.e. Directorate of Public Relations was established. This Information Wing remained combined/integrated with various departments like Home,S&GAD,Culture/Tourism and I.T,finally it was bifurcated from I.T Department in 2008,since then it is functioning as a fully-fledged department independently.
