To assist 328,000 deserving and low-income families in the province, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has initiated the Ramazan Relief Package 2026, which includes a list of beneficiaries to be assisted in the province.
The Ramazan Relief Package is a package containing basic foodstuffs to assist low-income earners during the holy month. The package includes, as a rule, the following:
- Wheat flour (Atta)
- Rice
- Cooking oil / Ghee
- Sugar
- Pulses (Daal)
- Tea
- Dates (Khajoor)
These essential commodities will be given to minimize the economic strain on deserving families, particularly with the increase in inflation. The aim is to make sure that families can celebrate Ramazan with honor and do not think about the necessary costs in the kitchen.
The government, through Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has made sure that quality standards are met and distribution is done in a transparent and merited manner.

The distribution has hitherto spread to 20 districts, and the whole provincial coverage should take place within the required time.
The field is also actively attended by district administrations, Assistant Commissioners and local revenue officials to control the process. Special focus is made on widows, people with disabilities, daily wage earners, and other weak groups to provide them timely and dignified help without wasting any time.
Chief Minister’s Directives
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has given directives to all departments related to the same to:
Provide total openness in the selection of beneficiaries.
Avoid duplication and favoritism.
Strict monitoring at the district and tehsil levels.
Immediately respond to any complaints or irregularities.
However, the government has also focused on the stringent price control measures, and it has given a warning against hoarding and profiteering in the holy month. Governments have been instructed to stop artificial inflation and ensure people are not exploited.

Ramazan Relief Package 2026 is not only a temporary project. It is an expression of the overall vision of the government of Balochistan to enhance social protection infrastructure and improve underprivileged groups in society.
